Timp and North Timp Points lie at the end of a scenic drive through stately ponderosa pines. The Grand Canyon panorama is similar to the view from Parissawampitts Point. North Timp Point is the only known, easily accessible point on the North Kaibab where it is possible (with binoculars) to see Thunder River, a very large spring that emerges from an opening in the north wall of Tapeats Canyon.
