The Lewis and Clark Visitor Center offers displays on the geology, exploration, early navigation, settlement and natural history of the area as well as a spectacular view of the lake. Recreational opportunities include camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, boating, sailing, swimming, bird-watching, and photography. In the winter, visitors enjoy ice fishing, cross-country skiing, snow mobiling and sledding.
