Ancient fossils still lie hidden in the bold and bronzen buttes of Badlands National Park, a protected wilderness penetrated by hiking and biking trails.
Fire Point Scenic Drive offers a panoramic view of the Grand Canyon, similar to Crazy Jug Point, except that more of the Canyon to the east is visible from here.
The drive is 14 miles over gravel roads that are passable by passenger vehicles in dry weather.
