Description
The Canyon Rim Trail starts at the Red Canyon Visitor Center and follows the edge of the canyon for 1-1/2 miles before turning away through ponderosa and aspen forest. It ends at the Greendale Rest Area off Hwy 44. The views of the gorge along its first mile are spectacular. At mile 2, a side trail swings by Green Lake and later rejoins the trail.
