As if a fine exhibit space dedicated to exploring regional history - from glaciers to pioneers - wasn't enough, the Yakima Valley Museum has an added lure: a working 1930's style soda fountain that dishes out tasty cold concoctions to 21st-century visitors. There's also, in addition to the permanent collection, a gallery space that features a variety of temporary exhibits ranging from art to ecology.
