Description
The Green River south of town meanders peacefully through beautiful red rock canyons for about 100 miles to the confluence with the Colorado River in Canyonlands National Park. The river here is mostly wide and moves easily. Canoeing is most popular on this segment, though power boats also cruise the river here (and follow the Colorado River upstream to Moab). At the 4-1/2 mile mark is Crystal Geyser.
