Description
Big Spring Canyon Trail traverses slickrock for 3/4 mile before entering and following the nicely wooded canyon bottom. Branch canyons lead left and right along the route providing nice isolated camping spots. Near the end of the trail is a steep slickrock climb to a pass leading to Squaw Canyon Trail . At mile 1.2 of the trail you can take a 2 mile long connecting trail to Chesler Park Trail in Elephant Canyon.
