Custer State Park in South Dakota's Black Hills covers 71,000 acres, every inch a playground. Hiking, biking, wildlife watching, gold panning, fishing and horseback riding are just some of the activities available within the park. Wildlife is abundant and the Wildlife Loop Road allows you to get up close and personal with many of the park's wild habitants. Lodging, including four resorts and eight campgrounds, can be found inside the park's borders.
