Description
Over 20 miles long and with 96 miles of shoreline, Blue Mesa Reservoir is Colorado's largest body of water. Part of the large Curecanti National Recreation Area, which along with Black Canyon National Park stretches from Montrose to Gunnison, this lake is home to several species of trout and is the largest Kokanee Salmon fishery in the United States.
