There's also a skating rink, biking trails, an outdoor swimming pool with waterslide, tennis courts, and ball fields.

The main feature of town is the Capitol building which has been almost completely redone. The 161-foot tall building is capped with a copper dome. The Lewis & Clark Historic Trails and Capitol City Trails provide a quiet retreat from the hubbub of city life.

The 18-hole Bluffs Golf Course offers a multi-level game with 10 acres of beautiful woods, lakes and wetlands. At Spirit Mound, birds, butterflies, and myriads of wildlife are displayed on over 300 acres of grassland habitat with hiking trails throughout.
